Since Indosat, one of the biggest ISP’s in Indonesia, have release ‘cheap’ prepackaged 3.5 internet connection. The package bundles with Huawei 220 modem. I have kubuntu 8.10 installed on my laptop. Unfortunately when I plug my HUAWEI e220 modem
I don’t see any notification. It works just fine
through network manager but I can’t monitor the
network activity. Are there any graphical interface
which I can use to monitor the activity? I tried
xfce4 cellmonitor plugin but it could not find the modem and I could not manage to install UMTSmon.Any
suggestions?
